Barbara van Santen

Barbara van Santen is an experienced professional in the fields of design, communications, and marketing, currently serving as a Branding & Packaging Jury member for the European Design Awards since January 2024. As Communications/Marketing Manager and Editor-in-chief of Dd Yearbook for the Beroepsorganisatie Nederlandse Ontwerpers (BNO) since August 2021, van Santen plays a crucial role in supporting the Dutch design community. Previous positions include PR & Communications Manager at NOAHH, Office Manager and Communications Assistant at the European Cultural Foundation, and Project Officer at the Erasmus Prize Foundation. van Santen's background also includes experience in marketing, graphic design, and sales, complemented by a robust educational foundation in arts and culture, visual communications, and art history from various esteemed institutions.
