Sarah Allred

Sarah Allred is an Associate Professor of Sociology at Berry College, a position held since 2003, where responsibilities also include serving as Academic Community Engagement Faculty Coordinator. Previously, Allred worked as a Project Evaluator for Floyd Against Drugs from September 2007 to September 2017. Earlier in her career, from 1989 to 1992, Allred served as a Senior Epidemiologist at the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, managing contractor services for the National Exposure Registry, which involved significant community engagement. Allred holds a Master of Arts in Sociology from William & Mary and a Doctor of Philosophy in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
