Emmanuel Tsakis

Emmanuel Tsakis has extensive work experience in senior leadership and finance roles in the non-profit sector. emmanuel is currently a Non-Executive Board Member at HousingFirst Ltd, a not-for-profit organization providing social and affordable housing. Prior to this, they served as Operations & Finance at Amnesty International Australia and as a Non-Executive Board Member at DPV Health, a comprehensive community health organization. Emmanuel also has a strong background in corporate services and finance, having held roles such as Executive Director - Corporate Services at Berry Street, Chief Financial Officer at Marriott Support Services and Save The Children Australia, and Director - Accommodation Services at YMCA Victoria. Emmanuel Tsakis has a strong educational background in business and accounting. In 1980, they completed their Bachelor of Business Accounting degree at RMIT University. After a few years, they pursued further education and obtained a CPA certification from CPA in 1996. The desire to enhance their knowledge and skills led him to earn an MBA degree from RMIT University between 2000 and 2002. More recently, in 2018, Emmanuel completed the Graduate Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
