Phil Harrison

Phil Harrison has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Phil began their career in 2011 as a Pool Lifeguard and Swimming Teacher at Western Swimming Pool, where they developed skills in customer service, first aid, and team collaboration. In 2013, they worked as a Sales Support at Argon Business Systems Limited, gaining experience in office work and time management using CRM software. From 2014 to 2016, Phil held roles as an Ambassador at the University of East Anglia and a Receptionist at UEA SportsPark, where they honed their communication and organizational abilities. In 2016, they joined PwC Isle of Man as an Audit Associate, where they worked on gaining financial services and assurance services experience while studying for their ACA qualification. From 2017 to 2020, Phil worked at Grant Thornton UK LLP as an Audit Associate and later as an Assistant Audit Manager. In 2020, they transitioned to the role of Divisional Finance Manager at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust. Currently, Phil is the Head of General Accounting at Bertelsmann Accounting Services.

Phil Harrison received their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in American Studies With A Year Abroad from the University of East Anglia in 2016. Prior to that, they attended Queen Elizabeth II Secondary Education from 2005 to 2012. Additionally, Phil obtained several certifications, including ACA from ICAEW in 2019, ASA UKCC Level 2 Certificate for Teaching Aquatics from The Amateur Swimming Association in 2011, NPLQ National Pool Lifeguarding Qualification from Royal Life Saving Society UK - RLSS UK in 2011, ASA UKCC Level 1 Certificate for Coaching Swimming from The Amateur Swimming Association in 2010, and ASA UKCC Level 1 Certificate for Teaching Aquatics from The Amateur Swimming Association in 2010.
