Emily Brooke MBE is the Founder and NEC of beryl.cc since July 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Pledger for Founders Pledge starting in June 2015. Emily has also held roles at Revent, serving as a Venture Partner from November 2021 to November 2022 and as a Partner from November 2020 to November 2021. Emily was an Early-stage Impact Investor at Atomico Angel Programme from December 2018 to November 2019. Emily founded and served as the CEO of beryl.cc from September 2012 to April 2019. Additionally, they were an Inaugural Member of Entrepreneur First in 2012 and worked as a Project Manager at Silicon Milkroundabout from April 2012 to June 2012.

Emily Brooke MBE began their education in 2005 at the University of Oxford, where they earned a BSc in Physics, completing their studies in 2006. Emily then moved on to the University of Brighton, where they pursued a BSc in Product Design with Professional Experience. During their time at Brighton, they also received an Honorary Doctorate of Engineering. Emily graduated from Brighton in 2011.

In 2009, Emily attended the Politecnico di Milano in Italy, where they obtained an MSc in Product Service System Design. Their studies at Politecnico concluded in 2010.

Lastly, in 2011, Emily Brooke attended Babson College and completed an Entrepreneurial Summer Programme, further specializing in Product Service System Design and earning a MA in the field.

Throughout their educational journey, Emily Brooke MBE has demonstrated a diverse range of interests, from physics to product design and entrepreneurship.
