Sacha Manson-Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Sacha began their career at Reeve Analytical Ltd, where they worked as a Software Developer/Engineer, designing scientific instruments and developing PC interfaces. Later, they joined TTP LabTech Ltd as a Software/Firmware Developer, managing a team and writing software for laboratory automation equipment.

In 2004, Sacha joined Barclays Investment Bank, starting as a Developer/Team Lead for Fixed Income Intraday Pricing and eventually becoming the Global Head of Emerging Markets Rates Technology. Sacha was responsible for managing complex migrations and overseeing large-scale technology projects involving up to 120 people.

In 2014, Sacha co-founded Mumoactive Limited, where they served as the Chief Information Officer. Sacha played a hands-on role in developing a next-generation chronic health management system and took the company through NHS Information Governance Toolkit Business Partner status.

Currently, Sacha is working as the Chief Technology Officer at beryl.cc, where they lead technological initiatives for the company. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Software Engineer and an Android Developer at the same company.

Throughout their career, Sacha has demonstrated expertise in various programming languages and technologies including C++, Java, Python, and more. Sacha'swork experiences have showcased their ability to manage teams, lead complex projects, and develop innovative solutions.

Sacha Manson-Smith obtained an MSci degree with a year in Europe in Physics from Imperial College London between 1993 and 1997. Sacha then pursued a PhD in Physics at the University of Strathclyde from 1997 to 2000. Prior to their university education, they attended The High School of Glasgow from 1988 to 1992. In terms of additional certifications, Sacha obtained several machine learning specializations from Coursera, including "Machine Learning Specialization," "Unsupervised Learning, Recommenders, Reinforcement Learning," "Advanced Learning Algorithms," and "Supervised Machine Learning: Regression and Classification." These certifications were obtained between 2017 and 2022. Sacha also completed certifications in "Software Security" and "Usable Security" from Coursera Course Certificates in 2017.
