Matthew Metcalfe

Matthew Metcalfe has extensive work experience in various roles primarily within the insurance industry. Matthew has held positions in BES Group, Covéa Insurance, Provident Insurance PLC, and Colonnade Direct.

At BES Group, they served as the Head of Recruitment and Talent starting in June 2023.

Matthew'slongest tenure was at Covéa Insurance, where they held multiple roles. Firstly, as the Senior Manager - Talent Acquisition from September 2019 to June 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Senior Manager - Customer Motor Claims from January 2018 to September 2019. Matthew also held the position of Manager - Policyholder Claims from January 2015 to December 2017.

Before joining Covéa Insurance, Matthew worked at Covea Insurance as the Team Manager - Policyholder Claims from December 2011 to December 2014.

Matthew'scareer began at Provident Insurance PLC, where they worked as a Claims Team Leader from January 1999 to December 2011.

Additionally, they had a brief stint at Colonnade Direct in the Renewals Team in 1999.

Matthew Metcalfe attended Brooksbank School in Elland from 1990 to 1997 for their primary education. In 2011, they pursued a Certificate of Management Studies at The University of Huddersfield, which they completed in 2012. Additionally, in the same year, Matthew began studying for a Master's in CMS at The University of Huddersfield, where they are currently enrolled.
