Bram Gruwez

General Manager, Operational Support at BESIX Watpac

Bram has more than 25 years of experience in the construction and engineering industry working with BESIX Group across four continents. As the General Manager Operational Support at BESIX Watpac, he supports the regional General Managers across the full life cycle of projects delivered by BESIX Watpac. Bram provides connectivity to the wider BESIX Group and with the support of the Operational Support Services team, Bram will ensure our delivery teams optimize design, methodology, and programs to drive our engineering-led approach. Bram has worked on city-shaping projects across the globe, including the Dubai Water Canal, the Dubai Tram, and the Garhoud Bridge. He has delivered multiple desalination plants and seawater intake structures, quay walls, breakwaters, and jetties. Based in Australia since 2015, Bram has supported BESIX Watpac’s national business development activities as well as successfully delivering the new tug berths project for Fortescue Metal Group in Port Hedland. Bram has a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Ghent.
