Desiree Dixon

Desiree Dixon has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations and roles. Desiree is currently the Director of Operations at Best Buddies International, where they successfully oversee operational policies, manages grants, and streamlines operations for programs across multiple chapters. Prior to this, they worked as a Program Coordinator at The Be. Org, managing a change project and developing a social-emotional learning-based curriculum. Desiree also has experience at Year Up, where they served as an Internship Services Manager, Internship Services Specialist, and Outreach Specialist, contributing to student success and community engagement. Additionally, they have held roles at The Community College of Baltimore County, Washington Adventist University, Adventist HealthCare, and Airfield 4H Center, gaining skills in communications, social work, and program facilitation.

Desiree Dixon's education history includes attending the Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage, where they studied Massage Therapy/Therapeutic Massage. Desiree later enrolled at Washington Adventist University and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Social Work.
