Aamer Charania

Aamer Charania is the Head of Applied Machine Learning & Sr. Director at Best Buy. Aamer is also the President & Founder of Dallas AI, the largest nonprofit AI forum in North Texas. Aamer serves as a Board Member at SMU Big Data Advisory and as a Governing Body Co-Chair and Member at Evanta, a Gartner Company. Previously, Aamer held positions at Capital One, Humana, and Verizon, where Aamer led teams in the development of AI solutions, big data platforms, and video streaming products. Aamer has a Master of Science in Engineering from MIT, a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and an MBA in Finance & Information Technology from SMU Cox School of Business.
