Matthew Phillips

Matthew Phillips started their career as a Developer at EXEControl Global Solutions in 2004. Matthew built strong relationships with external and internal customers while analyzing existing systems to deliver maximum value and client retention. In 2005, they joined Captira as the Chief Technology Officer, where they designed, developed, and maintained a comprehensive software solution for the bail bond industry. Under their leadership, Captira achieved a commanding market share in the bail bonds industry. In 2021, Matthew moved to Bestpass and took on roles as a Software Engineering Manager, Senior Software Engineering Manager, and currently serves as the Director of Software Engineering.

Matthew Phillips earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering from Clarkson University in the years 2000-2003. Matthew then went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in General MBA from Clarkson University in the years 2003-2004. In addition, Matthew has obtained a certification in Advanced Azure Microservices with .NET for Developers from LinkedIn in the year 2023.
