Derek Wong

Derek Wong, E.I.T. is a Structural Project Engineer at BETA Group, Inc. since October 2015, specializing in the development and design of bridge projects in compliance with various structural engineering codes. Prior experience includes roles as a Structural Engineer and Structural Staff Engineer at AECOM, where work was focused on the Green Line Extension Project, and as a Civil Engineer I supporting site drainage and utilities design. Derek co-founded Modular Branch System, aimed at enhancing inpatient care through medical devices, and has diverse experience in media coordination, financial literacy education, project engineering, and civil engineering internships. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology and a High School Diploma from Boston Latin Academy.
