Laura Mejias Torrent is a postdoctoral researcher at BETA Technological Center since November 2020. Previously, Laura held an Industrial PhD position at AERIS Tecnologias Ambientales SL from September 2017 to November 2020, and completed internships at HIPRA in June 2015 and La Fageda in June 2014. Laura holds a Master’s degree in Biological & Environmental Engineering from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, obtained between 2016 and 2018, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from the same institution, completed in 2016.

BETA is member of TECNIO, the network promoted and supported by the Catalan Government, composed by technological centers of excellence and with high quality standards (in terms of development and transfer of technologies and innovation capacities) in Catalonia.
