Brent Stansfield

Brent Stansfield is a design engineer specializing in charge systems at BETA TECHNOLOGIES, focusing on the development of electric aviation charging solutions since September 2021. Previous experience includes roles such as a manufacturing engineer and mechanical engineering intern at Canadian Nuclear Laboratories, where Brent contributed to testing apparatus design for irradiated components. Internships at Tesla and Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada provided hands-on experience in drive systems and lean manufacturing practices. As team captain of Conestoga SAE Baja, Brent led efforts in designing and managing an off-road vehicle project, while earlier positions involved machining and automotive services. Brent holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Systems Engineering from Conestoga College, complemented by a certificate in Tool and Die Technology.
