Harijs Veiss

Harijs Veiss has worked for various companies in the role of product designer, UX/UI designer, and graphic designer. Harijs started their career in 2012 as a junior frontend developer at Web Multishop Company SIA, and in 2014, they worked briefly as a graphic designer for Magnum NT. Later in 2015, they joined Colorart Media as a graphic designer, where they contributed to creating brand identities and advertising campaign concepts. In 2018, they worked as a graphic designer at Pagan Ogilvy, where they created marketing materials for various brands. At FINITERA, they worked as a UX/UI designer in collaboration with project managers and engineers in developing mobile app designs. At Lokalise, they worked as a product designer and was part of the company's significant growth from 70 to 350+ employees. Harijs collaborated with multiple cross-functional teams and built the glossary page as the first project without any design team. Harijs also revamped integration pages into Lokalise apps page in collaboration with integration teams. Currently, Harijs Veiss works at BETBY as a product designer.

Harijs Veiss graduated from the Grammar School of Nordic Languages in 2012 with a High School Diploma. In 2019 and 2020, they attended the LADC School for Creative Thinking but did not obtain a degree. Harijs has also completed several online courses, including certifications in Design for the 21st Century, Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience, Scrum Certification, UI Design Patterns, and Design Thinking, among others, from institutions like Interaction Design Foundation and Udemy between 2020 and 2021.
