Aurelien Fonteneau

Aurelien Fonteneau has a diverse work experience in the field of marketing and communications. Aurelien started their career at Publicis Groupe as an Account Executive, working with clients such as Editions Robert Laffont, Laboratoires Roche, Philips, Pyrex, and Sanofi. Aurelien then joined We Are Social as an Account Executive, managing accounts such as Orange/EE, adidas, Nokia, Skype, and Heineken. Aurelien's role evolved within the company, and they eventually became a Senior Account Manager, leading global accounts such as Evian Water, Milka chocolate, and Mikado biscuits. Aurelien also worked as an Account Manager, focusing on social listening and reporting for Orange.

After spending several years at We Are Social, Aurelien joined INNOCEAN Worldwide as the Head of Social. In this role, they led ATL and BTL communication on social media for Hyundai France, with a mission to position Hyundai as a leading brand for electric vehicles in France.

Currently, Aurelien is working at BETC as an Associate Director. Aurelien is responsible for leading the editorial team for TotalEnergies corporate communications and played a significant role in the relaunch of the French post office mobile operator brand, La Poste Mobile.

Throughout their career, Aurelien has consistently delivered award-winning and effective strategies for their clients. Aurelien has successfully managed teams, collaborated with various internal stakeholders, and demonstrated expertise in digital marketing and impactful content creation.

Aurelien Fonteneau obtained a Master of Science in Management from École Supérieure de Commerce et de Management - ESCEM, with a field of study in Business Administration, Management, and Operations, from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they pursued a Diplôme Universitaire de Technologie in Business Administration and Management, General, from Université de Poitiers from 2004 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Aurelien Fonteneau also obtained certification as an Open Water Diver from PADI in September 2016.
