Cecile J. Thiry

Cecile J. Thiry serves as the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer at techFAST1 and betFIRST since February 2022, overseeing legal, compliance, and corporate governance matters while managing relationships with regulatory authorities. With extensive experience in the Luxembourg financial industry, Cecile has worked as an independent consultant, Head of Depositary at Saltgate Group, and Head of Legal at European Fund Administration. Earlier roles include Senior Legal Counsel at HSBC and Avocat à la Cour at Arendt & Medernach, where significant contributions involved negotiating legal agreements and liaising with regulatory bodies. Cecile holds multiple law degrees, including an LL.M. in Transnational Business Law, and is currently enhancing language skills in Dutch through a course at CERAN.
