Kerry Brown

Chief of Staff at Beth Israel Lahey Health

As Chief of Staff for Beth Israel Lahey Health, Kerry Brown advises, oversees and collaborates on strategic and complex operational initiatives for the President and CEO. She is Lead Staff for the Beth Israel Lahey Health Board of Trustees, including leading the development of centralized governance support systems and processes to ensure alignment of boards across the system.

Kerry served as Chief of Staff to the CEO at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC). As a member of the executive team, she partnered with the CEO, the executive team, and the senior management team to work cross-functionally to maximize effectiveness by prioritizing and driving key initiatives. She acted as Lead Staff to the Board of Directors, including the Governance Committee and the Compensation Committee. For more than 20 years at Beth Israel Deaconess, Kerry held operational leadership roles in medical specialties and primary care, including roles as the Director of Operations for General Medicine & Primary Care and as the Director of Operations for Hematology/Oncology.

Kerry is a graduate of Denison University and received a Master of Business Administration in health care management from the Boston University School of Management. She has also completed the Sloane Fellows program for leadership development at BIDMC and is a recipient of the Robert M. Melzer Leadership Award for leading constructive, lasting and all-embracing change.

She resides with her family in Brookline.
