Julie Paine

Julie Paine has a wide range of experience in the field of social work. Julie began their career as a Senior Social Worker at Charter Peachford Hospital in 1992 and then moved on to work as a Home Based Crisis Intervention Social Worker at Riverside Community Care from 1993 to 1995. Julie later served as a Clinical Supervisor at Abundant Life Counseling Center from 1994 to 1997. Julie then transitioned into the education sector, working as a Guidance Counselor at Claypit Hill Elementary School from 1995 to 1997. Julie joined Family Continuity in 2010, where they worked as an LICSW, Home Based Team Clinician until 2012.

Julie's most recent and extensive work experience is with Bethany Christian Services. Julie started as a Program Coordinator for Safe Families for Children in 2012 and quickly advanced to become an Executive Director and Clinical Supervisor, a role they held from 2014 to 2018. Following that, they served as the National Director for Safe Families for Children from 2018 to 2019. From 2019 to 2023, Julie held several leadership positions at Bethany, including Senior Director of Domestic Family Strengthening and Preservation Programs, Vice President of Domestic Programs, Interim SVP of PQI and Programs, and currently, they are serving as the VP of Quality Improvement, Innovation, and Training.

Throughout their career, Julie has demonstrated a commitment to strengthening families and improving the well-being of children and parents. Julie is known for their strategic vision, the ability to build effective teams, and their passion for creating impactful services.

Julie Paine obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Social Work from Messiah University from 1987 to 1991. Julie then pursued a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at Columbia University - Columbia School of Social Work from 1991 to 1992. Julie also holds a certification as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), although details regarding the institution and date of obtaining the certification are unavailable.
