Vance Sims

Vance Sims possesses extensive experience in mental health and counseling, currently serving as a Marriage and Family Therapist at Bethel Haven since September 2014, focusing on mental health needs and marriage enrichment. Prior experience includes a long tenure as a School Counselor across multiple educational institutions, including Malcom Bridge Elementary School and Auburn Elementary School, where responsibilities encompassed guidance, individual counseling, and various administrative roles such as 504 Coordinator and Professional Development facilitator. Vance also has a background in child and adolescent therapy at Advantage Behavioral Health Systems and spent 17 years as a Youth and Family Minister at Campus View Church. Vance holds an Ed.S. in School Counseling and an MSW in Social Work from The University of Georgia, along with a BA in Biblical Missions from Harding University.
