Douglas Cardona

Douglas Cardona currently serves as the Lead Tutor at the University of Rhode Island, where efforts focus on enhancing student understanding through modern learning techniques. In addition to tutoring, Douglas holds the position of Vice President and Co-founder of Be The Match, a nonprofit dedicated to facilitating life-saving transplants. Previous experience includes a role as a Research Assistant, developing skills in organic synthesis, and working as an Emergency Medical Technician and Cashier. Douglas is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at the University of Rhode Island, expected to graduate in 2026, following a high school diploma from Robert E. Fitch High School.
