Matthew Sitzer

Matthew Sitzer has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Matthew is currently serving as the GM, US Operations at Beti since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as Of Counsel at Lavian LLP starting in 2021. Matthew also has experience as a Real Estate Attorney at Windels Marx Lane & Mittendorf, LLP from 2019 to 2020, and at BLAIVAS & ASSOCIATES, P.C. from 2018 to 2019. Matthew worked as an Associate at Katz and Matz, PC from 2017 to 2018. Matthew began their legal career as an Articling Student at Friedman Law Professional Corporation from August 2016 to July 2017, and as a Summer Associate at Daoust Vukovich LLP in 2015. Matthew also gained experience as a Student Associate under Tony Lafazanis, a Sole Practitioner in Personal Injury, from January 2015 to April 2015. Additionally, they worked as a Summer Research Associate at the Canadian Embassy - Israel - Harvey Weinberg Sole Practitioner in 2014 and as a Summer Intern at Kan-Tor & Acco (Israel) in 2013.

Matthew Sitzer has earned a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from York University - Osgoode Hall Law School, where they studied from 2014 to 2016. In 2016, they also briefly attended Fordham University as a visiting student in the Doctor of Law (J.D.) program. Prior to that, Matthew completed their Bachelor's degree in Political Science at Western University, studying from 2009 to 2013. Matthew is currently pursuing an MBA at The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School, which they started in 2021 and is expected to complete in 2023.
