Sam Adams

Sam Adams has held various roles throughout their work experience. They started their career as an Associate at Clifford Chance from 2006 to 2008. They then worked as an Associate at MinterEllison from 2008 to 2009, followed by a role as a Special Counsel at Clayton Utz from 2009 to 2014. During the same period, they also served as a Director at Brisbane Racing Club. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as the General Counsel and Acting CEO at Racing Queensland. They then became a Partner at Cooper Grace Ward from 2017 to 2020. In 2020, they held the position of General Counsel at Griffith University and served as a committee member of the Privacy and Data Law Committee at Queensland Law Society. Currently, they are serving as the Chief Legal Officer at BetMakers Technology Group. In addition to their legal roles, they volunteered as a Lifesaver at Surf Life Saving Queensland in 2019.

Sam Adams completed a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at Griffith University in 2004. From 1998 to 2003, they pursued a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce (with a focus on Accountancy, Banking and Finance) at Griffith University. In 2015, Sam Adams briefly attended the Australian Institute of Company Directors as a graduate, though the field of study is unknown.
