Kasper Giødesen

Kasper Giødesen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Kasper is currently working at Better Energy as the Director and Head of Risk & Compliance. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Compliance Specialist at Better Energy.

Before joining Better Energy, Kasper worked at Ørsted as a Senior Compliance Officer and Compliance Officer. In these roles, they focused on financial regulation in the renewable energy sector, providing support to various departments and teams within the company.

Prior to Ørsted, Kasper worked at Nordea as a Compliance Officer, where they were responsible for compliance within Private Banking in the Nordic countries. In 2002, they attended IBC - International Business College and obtained an HHX degree. From 2006 to 2011, they pursued their Master of Laws (LL.M.) at Aarhus Universitet. In 2010, they also attended the University of Leicester for a short period as a graduate focusing on law. In 2014, Kasper enrolled in the International Compliance Association and completed the International Diploma in Compliance. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including ICA Associate Membership from the International Compliance Association in 2022, and a Certifikat i persondataret (CIPP/E and CIPM) from Plesner in the same year.
