Lukasz Witkowski

Lukasz Witkowski has over 15 years of experience in the renewable energy industry. Lukasz currently holds the position of Vice President of Development at Better Energy since October 2022. Prior to that, they served as Vice President at Polskie Stowarzyszenie Fotowoltaiki starting from April 2019. Lukasz also had a significant tenure at EDP Renewables, where they held multiple roles including Head of Project Management and Environmental Department, Head of Project Management Department, and Senior Project Manager. Lukasz worked at Nordex as a Technical Sales Manager in 2012 and at Gamesa as a Project Manager/Wind Farm Developer from 2007 to 2011. Lukasz began their career as a Trainee at EC Baltic Renewable Energy Centre (EC BREC) in 2007 and at ENERGA OPERATOR S. A. in 2006.

Lukasz Witkowski completed their Bachelor's degree in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Warsaw University of Technology from 2002 to 2007. Lukasz then pursued further education at the University of Patras in 2007, where they obtained a Master's degree in the same field. In 2010, Lukasz enrolled in postgraduate studies at Kozminski University and successfully completed an MBA program specifically designed for engineers, which concluded in 2012.
