Martin Brobæk Madsen

Martin Brobæk Madsen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Martin Brobæk is currently serving as the VP Commercial Asset Management at Better Energy since 2023. Prior to this, Martin worked at Falck from 2019 to 2023 as the Head of Applied Analytics, where they led the centralization and transformation of business analytics to improve reporting quality and insights.

From 2013 to 2019, Martin worked at Svitzer, where they held various roles. Martin Brobæk served as the Head of Strategy & Portfolio Management from 2017 to 2019 and was responsible for leading corporate strategy and governing strategic projects. Martin also held the position of Head of Commercial Operation from 2015 to 2017 and Business Transformation Manager from 2013 to 2015 during their tenure at Svitzer.

Prior to Svitzer, Martin worked at Nykredit from 2003 to 2013. Here, they held positions such as Project Manager, Senior Analyst, and Business Developer in Asset Management. Martin played a key role in developing advanced analytics and data solutions for sales and wealth planning investments. Martin Brobæk also contributed to new insights in portfolio risk modelling and investment planning.

Before Nykredit, Martin gained experience as a Student at Orange and Parkegaard Partners A/S (now IBM). These roles provided him with valuable exposure to the industry.

Martin Brobæk Madsen completed their primary education at Lyngby Privat Skole from 1989 to 1995. Martin Brobæk then attended Virum Gymnasium, where they studied from 1994 to 1997. After that, they pursued higher education at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, where they obtained a Master's degree in Sc. of Economics. Martin Brobæk attended the university from 1998 to 2007.
