Claire Sleigh

Claire Sleigh is an experienced Monitoring and Data Analytics Officer at Better Work since June 2019, specializing in original research on issues such as sexual harassment prevention and the mental health of garment workers. Claire has facilitated collaborations with academic institutions and local partners, presenting findings to stakeholders in the Jordanian garment industry while enhancing the Monitoring and Evaluation system. Previously, Claire worked as an Assistant Analyst at the Congressional Budget Office, providing research support in macroeconomic analysis, and as a Research Assistant at Better Work, where econometric analysis was conducted using Stata. Early career experience includes a fiscal internship at the Economic Policy Institute, focusing on government healthcare spending. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Economics and International Relations from Tufts University.
