Matt Byers

Matt Byers has over 20 years of work experience. Matt started their career at Intrepa as a Software Developer before moving on to work as a Support Technician at Bob Jones University and as a Network Administrator & Support Technician at Inter-City Baptist Church and School. Matt then joined Electronic Commerce Inc. as a Senior Software Developer, where they worked on various projects and helped design, build, and test features for clients. Matt later worked at Press Ganey Associates as a Senior Software Developer, where they contributed to agile teams and supported applications. After that, they joined ECI as a Lead Software Developer, working on an agile product team responsible for adding features to their hosted HR solution using SQL Server and ASP. In 2014, they became the Director of Development at Better World Books, where they led software development and introduced Agile concepts to the infrastructure and support teams. Matt then progressed to the role of Sr. Director, Technology, overseeing technology projects before becoming the VP of Technology, responsible for software development architecture, project management, and improving vendor relationships.

Matt Byers earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Indiana University South Bend between 1997 and 2001. Matt then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership from Bob Jones University during the period of 2001 to 2002.
