Hyeyoung Jung

Hyeyoung Jung is a research scientist currently working at Bettergy Corp. since March 2020. Previously, Hyeyoung served as a research assistant and teaching assistant at Stony Brook University from September 2009 to August 2015, under the advisement of Clare P. Grey. Prior experience includes a role as a research scientist at LG Chem from January 1996 to September 2007, focusing on the development of various polymers and processes such as Polynorbornene polymer, Cycloolefin copolymer, halogen-free flame retardants, and heterocatalysts for producing Methyl methacrylic acid. Hyeyoung obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at Stony Brook University, a Master’s degree in Inorganic Chemistry from Sogang University, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the same institution.
