Eric Bronnenkant, CPA, CFP®, has a diverse and extensive work experience. Eric began their career in the NJ Army National Guard, serving as a U.S. Army Officer from 1995 to 2001. In 2002, Eric joined EY, where they worked as a Manager in Tax and Financial Planning until 2017. During this time, they developed expertise in tax and financial planning. In 2015, Eric also took on a role as an Adjunct Professor of Taxation at Seton Hall University. In 2017, they joined Fidelity Investments as a Senior Wealth Planning Specialist, and later that year, they became the Head of Tax at Betterment. Eric has a demonstrated track record in tax and financial planning, and their experience spans both the private and educational sectors.
Eric Bronnenkant, CPA, CFP®, has a diverse educational background. Eric earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History from Rutgers University in 2000. Eric then went on to pursue further education and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Taxation from Seton Hall University, graduating in 2010. In the following year, they completed their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Accounting, also from Seton Hall University.
With a passion for finance, Eric pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Quantitative Finance from NYU Stern School of Business. Eric successfully completed this program in 2015.
In addition to their educational achievements, Eric has obtained several certifications. Eric is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in both New Jersey and New York, holding licenses from the respective state boards. Eric has also earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Certification from the CFP Board. Furthermore, they hold several certifications from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), including Series 7, 9, 10, 24, 27, and 63.
