Johann Rodriguez

Johann Rodriguez has been working in the Human Resources field since 2004. Johann began their career as a Uniforms Supervisor at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino Las Vegas in 2004. In 2006, they were promoted to Modified Duty Specialist and Employment Specialist at the same company. In 2008, they moved to MGM Resorts International as an Employment Manager and Recruitment Specialist. In 2011, they were hired as an HR Manager at Excalibur Hotel & Casino. In 2014, they joined the YMCA of San Diego County as a Human Resources Generalist and Talent Management Administrator, where they were responsible for leading the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for key open positions across the YMCA of San Diego County, developing relationships with community partners and universities to build candidate pool for open positions and future openings, and conducting regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation. In 2021, they were hired as a Sr. Corporate Recruiter at BetterNight.

Johann Rodriguez completed their Masters in Business Administration from San Diego State University between 2002 and 2004. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside between 1995 and 1999.
