Liana Engie has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Liana currently works at Betteromics as a Customer Success Engineer since April 2022. Prior to this, from August 2020 to July 2022, they held the position of Region 7 Representative & Transportation Liaison at Mid City Neighborhood Council. Liana has also worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Southern California's Translational Imaging Center from August 2015 to April 2022, focusing on computational biology, bioinformatics, and developmental genetics. Liana also worked as a Honnold/Mudd Library Service Assistant at the Claremont University Consortium from November 2007 to May 2011. Liana's experience also includes a role as a REBMI Scholar/Math Biology Researcher at the University of British Columbia in 2009, focusing on cell biology lab work.

Liana Engie has a strong education background in the fields of Computational Biology, Molecular Biology, Physics, and Data Science. Liana obtained a Masters of Science degree in Computational Biology from the University of Southern California, completing their studies between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, Liana earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Molecular Biology & Physics from Pitzer College, studying from 2007 to 2011. Liana'seducational journey began at Foothill High School, where they obtained their GED in 2007. Apart from their formal education, Liana has also acquired additional certifications to further enhance their knowledge and skills. In 2015, they completed the Data Science Specialization from The Johns Hopkins University, and in 2021, they obtained the Deep Learning Fundamentals certification from NVIDIA.
