Madeleine Lopeman

Madeleine Lopeman is the Director of Data Science at Betterview. Madeleine has extensive experience in research and data analytics, having worked as a Vice President at Guy Carpenter and a Data Scientist at Blackboard Insurance. Madeleine has also worked as a Doctoral Researcher and Associate at Columbia University and SKDKnickerbocker f/k/a Squier Knapp Dunn, respectively. In their most recent position at Columbia University, they served as a Research Assistant for the Integrated Assessment for Effective Climate Change Adaptation.

Madeleine Lopeman started their educational career by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Columbia University. Madeleine then pursued a Master of Science in the same field at the same school before obtaining a Master of Philosophy in Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics from Columbia University as well. Finally, they completed their education by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics from Columbia University.

They are on a team with Mike Keller - Senior Site Reliability Engineer, Julius Simonelli - Director, Machine Learning, and Robert Garbowski - Senior UI Designer. Their manager is Jason Janofsky, VP of Engineering & Chief Technology Officer.
