Pierluigi Vaccaneo is an experienced professional with a diverse background in cultural management, digital media, and communication. Pierluigi has held various roles in different organizations throughout their career.
In 2002, they worked as a copywriter at Fabiano editore. From 2003 to 2004, they served as an assegnista at the University of Turin. During this time, they also worked as an event manager and press officer at Cultura e Territorio, as well as in the press office of Comune di Santo Stefano Belbo.
In 2005, Vaccaneo founded IVM Multimedia, where they stayed until 2008. In 2006, they became the Direttore of Fondazione Cesare Pavese, a foundation dedicated to promoting the life and work of Cesare Pavese through various cultural events and collaborations.
Starting in 2012, Vaccaneo co-founded Associazione Culturale Twitteratura, an association focused on using technology and modern communication to encourage reading classic literature. This initiative gained recognition as a best practice by the European Union. At the association, they worked as a co-founder until an unspecified end date.
In 2015, Vaccaneo joined MitOst e.V. as a Cultural Manager. Pierluigi played a key role in facilitating collaborations between European cultural managers and promoting the development of society through culture.
Most recently, since December 2016, Vaccaneo has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Betwyll, a web-based app that aims to enhance and customize the social reading experience. Through this platform, they have built communities around cultural content and provided tools for critical thinking, education, and communication.
Throughout their career, Vaccaneo has demonstrated a passion for cultural preservation and promotion, utilizing technology and innovative approaches to engage audiences and foster collaboration in the cultural sector.
Pierluigi Vaccaneo completed their education at two different institutions. From 1990 to 1996, they attended Liceo Scientifico and obtained a Diploma di Maturita' scientifica. Following this, they enrolled at Università di Pavia from 1996 to 2002, where they earned a Laurea degree in Facoltà Umanistica.
