Giancarlo Puerto has worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Alabama in Huntsville, where they performed optical and mechanical analysis on various metal superalloys. Giancarlo also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the same institution. Prior to that, they worked as a Bartender at Vintage Cigar Lounge. Currently, they are employed as an Aerospace Welding Engineer at Bevilacqua Research Corporation.
Giancarlo Puerto completed their high school education at Moody High School from 2010 to 2014, earning a High School Diploma. Giancarlo went on to attend the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 2014 to 2016, studying Mechanical Engineering. From 2016 to 2020, they continued their education at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Giancarlo then pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the same institution from 2020 to 2022.
