Marjo Slootjes

Marjo Slootjes is an experienced professional in the fields of environment, health, and safety. Currently serving as the Environment, Health and Safety Manager at Beyond Meat since February 2021, Marjo is responsible for establishing safety protocols and sustainability measures at a new plant for plant-based meat production. Prior experience includes roles as ESH Coordinator at Zwanenberg Food Group, where Marjo managed safety systems and compliance with labor and environmental legislation. Previous positions also encompassed process technology at Sealed Air Diversey Care, QHSE Manager at NSG Pilkington Benelux, and various roles at Boekelo Decor, including Manager QM/CI and Project Engineer, focusing on quality management and continuous improvement. Marjo began a career at Polaroid, advancing from Process Engineer to Department Manager. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering and a Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
