Saravana Kumar

Saravana Kumar has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Saravana is currently working as an Account Delivery Director at Beyondsoft since March 2019. Prior to that, they held various positions at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) starting from June 2001.

During their time at TCS, Saravana held the roles of Account Manager & Delivery Owner for AIG Life & Retirement, Transition Director for AXA Asia, Account Director for AXA Asia, Presales Manager for APAC Insurance Vertical, Engagement Manager for AXA Direct Japan, Project Manager for a large web redesign project for a large US insurer, Technical Lead for Intranet Maintenance and Enhancements for a large US insurer, and Developer/Module Lead for the Debt Office Computerization Project for Reserve Bank of India.

In their various positions, Saravana demonstrated their expertise in account management, transition management, project management, and technical leadership. Saravana successfully led the transition of maintenance services from a customer's captive unit in China to a completely managed services model in India. Saravana also took on end-to-end responsibilities including sales cycle, bid management, contracting, and transition of services.

Saravana has a strong track record of building accounts from scratch, delivering high-quality program outcomes, and proactive business development.

Saravana Kumar's education history includes a Master of Computer Applications degree from the College of Engineering - Anna University, which they pursued from 1998 to 2001. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Guru Nanak College - University of Madras, from 1995 to 1998.

In addition to their formal education, Saravana Kumar has obtained various certifications. In 2020, they completed the "Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging for All" certification from LinkedIn. In 2011, they obtained the "Ambassador Corps - Leadership Coaching" certification from TATA Consultancy Services. Two years earlier, in 2009, they completed the "Trailblazer - Management Training" certification, also from TATA Consultancy Services. In 2008, they obtained the "INS 21 (Property & Liability Insurance Principles)" certification from the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters (AICPCU). Saravana Kumar holds the "Sun Certified Web Component Developer (SCWCD)" certification from Sun Microsystems, USA, obtained in 2006. Prior to that, in 2005, they obtained the "Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP)" certification from the same institution. In the same year, they also obtained the "Project Management Professional (PMP)" certification from the Project Management Institute, USA. Finally, in 2004, Saravana Kumar completed the "Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA)" certification from the Quality Assurance Institute, USA.
