Jessica Garr M.ed.

Jessica Garr, M.Ed. has a diverse work experience in the education field spanning over several years. Jessica is currently working at Bezos Academy as a Head of School Resident and previously served as a Founding Montessori Teacher at the same company. Prior to that, Jessica worked at ECS LEARNING SYSTEMS as a Texas Curriculum Reviewer. Jessica also had a significant tenure at KIPP Texas Public Schools, where they held multiple roles including Grade Level Chair, Math Content Lead, and Kindergarten Teacher. Before joining KIPP Texas Public Schools, Jessica worked as a Lead Preschool Teacher at BakerRipley and briefly served as a CASE/ Americorps Member at Harris County Department of Education.

Jessica Garr, M.Ed. has a Master of Education - M.Ed degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Learning, Design, & Technology from the University of Houston. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Human Development and Family Studies, General, also from the University of Houston. Jessica also holds certifications as a 4-8 Certified Teacher and an EC - 6 Certified Teacher from the Texas Education Agency. In 2022-2023, they are pursuing a Montessori Teacher Diploma from The Prepared Montessorian.
