Kanetria Doolin M.ed.

Kanetria Doolin, M.Ed. has an extensive work experience in the field of education. Kanetria is currently working at Bezos Academy as the Head of School and also serves as a Montessori Mentor. Prior to this, they worked at Cedar Hill ISD as a Primary Montessori Guide and Teacher. Before that, they worked at St. Phillips School and Community Center where they were a Lead Pre-Kindergarten Teacher and was involved in various activities such as being a grant recipient for Project-Based Learning, a Honey Shine Mentor for 5th and 6th grade, and a Math tutor for 2nd grade. Kanetria also worked as a Kindergarten Teacher at Garland Independent School District and as a Lead Kindergarten Teacher at Duncanville ISD.

Kanetria Doolin, M.Ed. holds a Master's degree in Urban Education from Southern Methodist University, which they obtained from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from The University of Texas at Arlington, completing it from 2007 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Kanetria has obtained several certifications. Kanetria holds an AMI (Association of Montessori International) Primary Diploma, which they received in May 2020. Kanetria also carries an ESL (English as a Second Language) Teacher Certification from the Texas Education Agency, which they obtained in May 2011. Furthermore, they possess an Education: Initial Educator Certificate from the Texas Education Agency, acquired in May 2010.
