Paul Reidy

Paul Reidy is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in the financial services industry, currently serving as the Head of Brokerage Technology at BGC Partners since April 2020, where leadership focuses on proprietary tech product management and software development across multiple asset classes. Prior experience includes roles as VP and COO of Cboe FX, where operational teams were managed, and significant improvements in execution protocols were achieved. Reidy has also held leadership positions at BATS Global Markets, where the successful acquisition and integration of HotspotFX took place, and at Knight Capital Group, overseeing technology and market structure for the same platform. Reidy’s background encompasses earlier roles at Bloomberg, Bondbook ECN, Kabira Technologies, and Merrill Lynch, contributing to software development and engineering initiatives. Reidy holds a BSc in Computer Science from Queen Mary University of London.
