Jim Potochny

Jim Potochny has been working in the finance and accounting industry for over 25 years. Jim began their career in 1995 as CFO/VP Finance and Administration at Axicon Technologies, Inc. From 1996 to 1999, they held the role of Manager, Corporate Development at Hewlett-Packard, and then moved on to become Consultant and Co-owner at Trellis Group, LLC. In 1998, they became CFO/VP Finance and Administration at Creative Design Solutions, Inc. and in 2000, they were CFO/VP Finance at Arkivio, Inc. From 2009 to 2010, they were Interim CFO at MicroEdge and then Chief Financial Officer at Leaf Clean Energy Company. From 2019 to 2020, they were Chief Financial Officer at Ntiva, Inc. and is currently a Consultant/Interim CFO at BGS Consulting, providing CFO-level finance and accounting and interim CFO services for BGS clients.

Jim Potochny obtained their MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 1990, where they studied Business. Jim received their BS in Electrical Engineering from Yale University between 1982 and 1986. Jim also holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Virginia Board of Accountancy.
