Sean O'Rourke

Sean O'Rourke is an experienced executive and entrepreneur with a strong background in the spirits industry. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of BHAKTA, LLC. since June 2022, O'Rourke collaborates with Whistle Pig founder Raj Bhakta to transform farmland into hospitality and distillery experiences, overseeing a team of 50 employees and focusing on premium spirit development. O'Rourke holds various leadership roles, including Secretary at the Distilled Spirits Council of Vermont and Board Member at Misunderstood Whiskey. Previous experience includes a tenure at Sazerac Company, where O'Rourke developed on-premise strategies and managed the Bond & Royal division, as well as a successful stint at Fedway Associates pioneering a craft spirits portfolio. O'Rourke's career began with entrepreneurship in the food industry and includes a finance degree from the University of Notre Dame.
