Louis Bates

Louis Bates is a seasoned professional in the field of business systems analysis and product ownership, currently serving as Product Owner at BHG Financial since October 2022. Prior experience includes eight years at DONAN, where Louis held roles as Senior Business System Analyst and Business System Analyst, focusing on gathering and documenting business requirements through various analytical methods. Prior to this, Louis contributed as a GIS Analyst II, supporting the Kentucky Department of Mine Permits, and developed critical 3D mine maps for safety assessments. Earlier career experience includes roles as GIS Technician I at the U.S. Department of the Interior and GIS Clerk I at the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Louis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Kentucky State University, complemented by studies at Earlham College.
