David Carlisle

David Carlisle is currently serving as the Co-Head of the Credit Underwriting unit and Team Leader for CRE Underwriting at BHI. David was promoted to this role in October 2021 after previously being promoted to First Vice President in March 2021. Prior to their current role, David worked at Capital One from 2010 to 2018, where David held the position of Director and Team Leader - Credit Underwriter for Commercial Real Estate. David managed a team of underwriters and was involved in various commercial real estate transactions in New York City. David also has experience working at Perennial Investments, Citi, and Bank of America in roles related to REIT equity portfolio management, equity research, and investment banking. David holds a B.A. in Economics and History from Columbia University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
