Jamie Stollery is an accomplished legal professional currently serving as Vice President of Disputes and Regulatory at BHP since March 2015, leading a diverse team of 15-20 lawyers across three sub-teams focused on Disputes, US Operations, and Sustainability & ESG. Previously, Jamie held roles at BHP including Head of Legal for Disputes and Managing Counsel, managing significant disputes and litigation, including high-profile shareholder class actions. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Associate at Herbert Smith Freehills with expertise in dispute resolution, mining law, and corporate criminal investigations. Additional roles include a secondee to Wunan Foundation for educational improvement initiatives in the Kimberley, volunteer experience in humanitarian projects in Guyana, and an internship at the United Nations Office at Vienna focusing on legal and policy reviews. Jamie holds a Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Sydney and dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Law and Arts in International Studies from the University of Technology Sydney.
