Sonia Lanteigne MSc. PMP is an experienced professional with a strong background in environmental science and project management within the mining sector. Currently serving as the Site Superintendent at BHP since January 2023, Sonia previously held the position of Environmental Coordinator/Project Manager at Denison Mines Corp. from April 2019 to January 2023, where responsibilities included managing the care and maintenance of three closed mine projects and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Prior to that, Sonia worked as an Environmental Scientist at Denison Environmental Services from September 2013 to March 2019, focusing on mine closure planning and environmental monitoring. Additional roles included consulting at the University of Waterloo and research assistance at Laurentian University, complemented by a Master's degree in Geology and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Earth Science, both from Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne.
