Sonam Phuntsho has worked as a Dy Chief Accountant at Bhutan Power Corporation Ltd since July 2015. Prior to that, they held the same role at Bhutan Power Corporation starting from February 2003.
Sonam Phuntsho completed a Diploma in Financial Management from Sree Ramu College of Arts and Science in India in January 2017. From 1999 to 2000, they attended Chukha High School, where they obtained a secondary degree with a focus on Business/Commerce. During the same period, they also attended Chukha Higher Secondary School and earned an Associate's Degree in Finance and Financial Management Services.
