Nicolas Vandermarliere has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Nicolas began their career as a trainee at Opticable (Nexans) in 2009. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as a Technical-sales engineer at Multitel ASBL. In 2013, they joined Cabliance - a joint venture between Nexans and Alstom - as a Project Engineer, where they were involved in developing and setting new standards in electrical harnesses and cabinets manufacturing for the railway business market. In 2015, they transitioned to BIA Africa and held multiple roles, including Sales and Product support Manager for BOMAG, Sales Manager for Ivory Coast and Liberia, and currently as a Sales Director for Equipments & Trucks in Ivory Coast and Liberia.

Nicolas Vandermarliere began their education in 1999 at Collège Notre-Dame de Bonne Espérance, where they attended until 2005. During this time, they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. In 2005, they enrolled at Faculté Polytechnique de Mons, where they completed their Master's degree in electricity, telecommunications, and multimedia. Their education at this institution lasted until 2010.
