Dillon Steyl is a Commercial Mathematician at Biarri since May 2019, specializing in integrating mathematical techniques with innovative software solutions, and has experience in Full-Stack Web Development, DevOps, and mathematical modeling. Prior to this role, Dillon served as a Casual Academic at The University of Queensland from February 2017 to November 2020, where responsibilities included teaching various mathematics and science courses and developing interactive programming exercises. Dillon also contributed to a Winter Research Program that focused on practical applications of machine learning techniques for publication. An internship at Veitch Lister Consulting involved investigating machine learning applications in transport analytics, completed through the UQ SMP Summer Industry program. Dillon holds a Bachelor of Mathematics with double majors in Data Analytics and Operations Research, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, both from The University of Queensland.
