Benjamin Verhaeghe

Benjamin Verhaeghe has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Benjamin currently serves as the Cloud Communication Carrier Relations APAC MEA Team Lead at BICS since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Deutsche Telekom as a Senior Product Manager Cloud Communication/CPaaS from August 2022 to May 2023.

Earlier in their career, Verhaeghe was employed at BICS where they held several roles. Benjamin started as a Regional Manager from March 2008 to November 2014 before becoming the Head of Voice VAS Markets from December 2014 to January 2017. Benjamin then transitioned to the position of Product Sales Expert in various regions, including Americas (February 2017 to August 2019), APAC (September 2019 to December 2019), Europe & Americas (January 2020 to January 2021), and Middle East & Africa (January 2021 to February 2022). Benjamin also worked as a Customer Success Manager from January 2022 to August 2022, providing support to new customers and ensuring customer satisfaction in Cloud Communications.

Verhaeghe began their career at Traff-X as a Pricing & Routing Manager from September 2002 to July 2006. Benjamin then joined U-Link Telecom in August 2006 and held the role of Pricing & Routing Manager until February 2008.

Benjamin Verhaeghe obtained a degree in Commercial sciences from Hautes Etudes Commerciales, Liège, from 1997 to 1998. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Foreign Trade from HEMES (ISM), Liège, from 1999 to 2002.
